The Germans sank hundreds of boats in the gulf with the mouth of the Mississippi being their focal point. I bet Louisiana has the second highest civilian casualties behind Hawaii
re: Anyone know what happened to Garrett Ward?
Posted by Original Big Dawg on 5/3/22 at 1:24 pm to bdavids09
We just have his lawyer saying that Defendant woke up to Victim “running his pockets” knife in hand. That doesn’t mean the same thing as knife pointed exactly. And Defendant was said to be drunk by the police. There are two witnesses who can give a sober account and be asked about did you see him running his pockets did you see a knife. Now those witnesses might’ve been fellow bums cuz you see a ton in that specific area who sleep in piles of trash and clothes. But if the DA thinks it’s got a slam dunk they’re not trotting out somebody who sleeps in the street even when they’re not drunk and waiting for Uber. Unless he’s got video or photo Idk abt self defense claim

His lawyer said he was robbed at knife point and the police didn’t follow up on knife wounds on his hands ? Does that mean they didn’t take photos? If he doesn’t have any clear photos I think the self defense claim is out the door. Cuz otherwise his lawyer is saying the guy died of drug withdrawal which I don’t think works as a self defense claim. I think I’ve heard several times that the victim was an uptown bum, and even if they are shuffling around with a blinking hp bar that doesn’t give u an excuse for killing him.
Hooch / prison wine - holiday season
Posted by Original Big Dawg on 11/22/21 at 2:11 pm
Does anyone like or know how to make good hooch? How do you do it? I’ve always enjoyed mulled wine and the other year I had some good mulled wine that was actually hot hooch.

People have different ways of cooking everything. Why is cooking a steak so controversial? Cook it the way you like it. Everyone on here acting like they are master chefs that reached nirvana and know the secret to a steak.
the first time i had a wildly overseasoned well done steak it shook my whole 'med rare and nothing but salt pepper and garlic' reality, i loved it. i eat a ton of steaks and steak gravy i pretty much like everything except a restaurant style (med rare / minimal) with steak sauce added. i dont like A1 thats the only steak ive found that i prohibitively dislike
re: Let’s talk keto
Posted by Original Big Dawg on 6/1/21 at 6:51 pm to tigerdup07
its a marathon not a sprint big dawg. its about making healthy lifestyle changes. its not so much about maintaining that whole 'state of ketosis' for a straight week or more, but achieving a state of ketosis at least once every single week for like 3 months.
to achieve a state of ketosis i think you need to go no carbs for like 24 to 48 hours right? they have these little piss-strips you can rig up to ur toilet to check it

luxury truck bubble will burst but not for several years. as for now theyre still keeping dealerships in business and holding their value really well. everything'll change when the automakers start pushing insanely low leases thru corporate finance that'll push the little guys out and change consumer behavior

im all for it. the bronco is such a cool nameplate. and to put it on a wrangler style vehicle i do approve, it will be fun. to me thats a sign of a healthy company, i generally trust fords direction. jeep did great with the comanche / gladiator ressurection. now i just want them to bring back the grand wagoneer - it would prolly cost $75K+ but it would look awesome

Can anyone answer if Popeye's cajun rice has always been terrible? The one time I ordered it a few months back it was inedible mush. It was overcooked with a terrible, off taste. I didn't even want to try feeding it to my dog.
Is it always bad, or was it just this time at this restaurant?
always been a GARBAGE product. on its best day its halfway decent inoffensive. popeyes needs to bring back them la seafood restaurant style onion rings.
