Not trying to be a dick and am done trolling but some of yall need to have some self awareness and realize you MIGHT have a problem. Attack me all you want, I really don't care, but some of yall should look around and realize two glasses of whisky a night is not normal.

So having 1-2 drinks at max a month is me being an alcoholic. GTFO.

Makes as much sense as saying anyone who has a drink/night is an alcoholic.

Look guys I am happy yall drink everyday. But realize it isn't normal in america to do that. Especially once you are over 30 and have kids. Most adults do not do this and especially those that are successful. Tell yourself whatever it is you need to so you fell better, but its not the norm.

Talk down to people more. It helps

So beer and wine is ok every night but oh no not that liquor. Can't be having that!

What's the difference?

L.O.L. So, you think people drink whisky like beer (i.e., guzzle 12oz at a time)?

This is rich. It's as if you haven't read the thread. Look, you have a unique view on alcohol and its uses that is not based on fact. Just admit you were ignorant of it and maybe you can recover. You're getting absolutely killed.

Have you never opened the bourbon thread or the FBD thread in your life? Even out of curiosity?

Dude, you really need a new hobby. Between you and dallastiger, we have a whole lot of eating disorder going on in this place lately. You two need to get help for your obsession.

FWIW, I drink every night. I weigh 103 pounds.

So you asked if two cocktails a night was too much. You get answers and then you start fighting withe everyone calling them names.

What was the original purpose of the question? If you are having issues with your drinking go seek help, don't fight with everyone about an issue that is different for each person. There is no one statistic that makes someone an alcoholic, it really comes down to needing a drink as opposed to enjoying a drink.

Sounds like you might be on a bender and are looking for someone to either tell you what yo do or to forgive you. Either way a message board is not the place and you clearly do not have thick enough skin to handle the ribbing you are getting for you obvious attention needing post.

i would bet there is more alcohol in a 12oz craft beer than a normal 1.5oz constructed cocktail

But keep on making yourself look like an arse.

Damn. I had four last night. I may need recovery. I was also hanging out with a client who works in private equity. He had three or four drinks too. He's clearly unsuccessful.
