Yeah, I had a legit laugh at that.

Tulane is a fun writer. I would think there is some sort of quirky magazine or newspaper in NO where he could contribute.

I was too young to have been in that book depository window with Oswald, but I like to thing I know how he felt... to see so much fornication and drunkenness in the world. They laugh at me now, but one day, I’ll be the one laughing. Oh wait... did I just type this on Tiger Droppings? Mother! The voices are getting so loud, Mother! Why don’t you respond to me anymore, Mother?

I still have a bruise on my arm from Easter when Joe grabbed me to lead my party to our table.

Is that a serious question? Of all you know about me do you really see me as someone who would prefer Rite 2 to Rite 1?

Napoleon, I cannot answer that question. But if you keep reading you can tally them and let us know when my time comes.

I asked because obviously you believe you shouldn't have sex before marriage. Yet you also seemed to not grasp the commitment of marriage and wanted it at a young age to be committed without godly restrictions.
Maybe you should act on your physical urges and then ask for forgiveness rather than ruin possible relationships because you don't understand marriage and think that marriage is necessary for commitment.

Napoleon, dear friend,

The first paragraph which I believe you interpreted as addressed to you and to which you responded with such eloquence and concern, was indeed a response to Unodelgado.

Was it not Pascal who wrote:

What a Chimera is man! What a novelty, a monster, a chaos, a contradiction, a prodigy! Judge of all things, an imbecile worm; depository of truth, and sewer of error and doubt; the glory and refuse of the universe. Who shall unravel this confusion?

Le cœur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point.

You will be relieved to know that my propositions ended in high school at about the time my readings of Tolstoy began.

Yours Faithfully,
TulaneLSU

That's an interesting question. Sporting a '28 BCP in one's pocket I would guess, neither? The 1979 "traditional" rite seems more of a watered down concession to the few remaining orthodox traditionalists to keep quiet and help them swallow the '79 monstrosity.

But insofar as I am aware no Episcopal churches in the New Orleans area that remain in the denomination once abbreviated ECUSA allow use of the 1928 BCP. They muscled it out when the 1979 BCP was enthroned.

One must look far and wide to find an Anglican community or Anglican denomination which uses and upholds the 1928 BCP as their baseline for orderly prayer and liturgical worship.

I was fortunate to pick up online a combination KJV/1928 BCP for a reasonable price and which I paid to have rebound. It'd be nice to have a pocket sized Prayer Book. Best I can do is keep a small hardback in my Jeep's console.

I have found online a publisher which offers a facsimile KJV/'28 BCP in hardback or leather for $80 or $100 respectively.

But I digress and wander far afield. The question was an intriguing one.

Best wishes all.

I'd respond appropriately but I'm unable to process this comment and am confused as to its meaning. I suspect there's a jocular tone below the surface but it's hidden from me due to my ignorance.

Since you know so much about Impastato’s. What is the dressing used on the crab salad do you have the recipe.

Friend,

I wish I had the recipe because I too would like to make that dish at home. But I don't. I did chance upon a postcard of Mr. Picou. I love this CD, and have four copies of it. I plan to make homemade meatballs with sauce from Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes next week. I will play this CD as I make them. Oh perfection!

Sincerely,
TulaneLSU
