Rofl.
I still remember getting a pinata at the panchos in lafayette back in the 90s.

Bravo Compadre!
I agree fully with your ranking, other than the sad fact that I see no mention on their excellent Guacamole? Is it not still on the line, as I recall, it was the first or second line item at the HEB location back in the day. Many Many fond memories of big fancy dining experiences with the waif and kiddos when we lived in Garland and then Richland Hills. I also remember the one on the side of I-20 in Monroe. I probably saw Otis and Balls there and did not pay any attention since I was always busy raising the flag.

Always someone who parks like a pendejo.
Probably pre-planned being able to fit back in the truck to make his escape to nap-land easier.

Memphis Pancho's was a different Pancho's. My dad worked in Memphis occasionally when I was a kid and he would take me. Pancho's and eating at Howard Johnson's were the highlights of those trips.
The mustard-based tropical dressing on the tacos I used to buy it at the grocery store when I lived in Memphis in the mid '90s.

I'm not sure if this the the greatest, or worst, post in TD history.

In the Rosedale Mall, the bathroom entrance was on the restaurant side of the checkout register, but the exit was on the street side. When we were in high school this lent itself to another Pancho’s tradition - All You Can Eat For Free!

The queso was available in grocery stores in Mississippi in the ‘80’s.

Rosedale Mall - the Panchos was the bomb.

Solid posts
Pancho's was awesome. Sad we still don't have them here.
My favorite items were the rice and beans, chili rellenos, flautas, all the enchiladas were good but that chicken with the white sauce was GOAT

Friend,
While I enjoy your posts, I have to point out that gluttony is a cardinal sin.
Sincerely,

Didn't read the Berlin wall of text Tulane posted but I did see the Old Pappy K's beef jerky images. What's the relationship between Panchos (tGoat) and Old Pappy K's jerky? That shite is awesome. Made in South Mississippi and hard to find in stores these days. You used to be able to find it all the time when I was a kid (80s-90s) and I would get it all the time and eat the bag with my Dad (RIP). Good memories. My wife (no pics) ordered me a bunch of Old Pappy K's jerky for Christmas. It was gone before dinner time. Good shite and definitely worth a try.

From the dipshit claiming to be rich on every forum. You are a broke dick.

Pancho’s by LSU, on Nicholson near the plasma center iirc. One time with a buddy, we tried the splurge and purge approach. Mind you (ear muffs for those with a weak constitution) we were not even nearly sober, the attempt failed miserably. After gorging on the deliciousness, Pancho’s revenged itself in refusing to return from whence it came despite several quite uncomfortable attempts. Teary eyed and stuffed, we resolved to never try that again. Good times.

grew up eating at the Rosedale Mall location (Metry), then near campus while at LSU and dined at the Lafayette location on Johnson next to Rickie Smith Audio … brings back memories as I would crush Panchos right now.
