Got an early flight out wed am, gonna stay n Metairie. Would like to grab dinner in the area, and not head into the city. Suggestions?

Cuisine doesnt really matter, just something good. Ive considered: Vega Tapas, Legacy Kitchen, Andrea's, Vincents, Filippo, Chateau Du Lac. Help plz! Thanks

All good choices. Chateau Du Lac would be my 1st choice from this list. Sometimes I think I am the only one on this board who likes Andrea's but I do like it.

Austins and Restaurant Cypress are both very good.

I agree with Marcellos or Chateau.

legacy just rubs me wrong for some reason with their prices.

Also consider Vincent's or Sandros

Top choices for me would be Marcello's, Cypress and Vincent's.

Sandro's Trattoria, Cypress, Vincent's, Marcellos, Taco Tico, Buds broiler, and World Deli.

Seriously though, those first 4 are damn solid...

I thought Chateau was the best restaurant in Merairie for a while, but I think Marcellos has overtaken them.
I will say that last time we dined at Chateau, which was at 7:30 on a Saturday night, the average age was over 60. LOL
Not that there is anything wrong with that
