Going there for the first time on Friday. Should I get wings,or the chicken pieces(leg thigh breast)?

Try it all. Get 3 wings and 2 pieces of chicken. It’s cheap.

Throw some fried rice in as well, it’s dirt cheap

their chicken legs are the size of mini-turkey legs. i've never seen chicken that large before. not complaining. it's good chicken and it is cheap!

I never found the full pieces to pack the same power as the wings. Just get 3 wings and 3 logs for your test run.

I finally went about 2 weeks ago, to the store on Harrells Ferry in the old Dominoes.
The chicken was ok, but I'd rather Delpits 10/10 times.

Don't think that is a Triplets Blue Store.

Apples to Oranges comparison. Delpits is more Popeye's esc.
Where at Triplets its more a wing place that has other stuff. Also Delpit's is really proud of their chicken$$$.

The fry rice at Blue Store on Old Hammond is better.

Do the 10 wings, order of fry rice and some potato logs.

What wings you dont finish works great in the air fryer later.

Is the one of Harrells Ferry new? If so it seems like they are throwing these locations up awfully quick

If I’m remembering correctly, family members of the original opened some of the newer locations which is why they don’t include the Triplets in the name. They are just called Blue Store Chicken. I doubt the recipes are different though.

Sometimes the chicken is a bit too salty. At least the one in Baker.

It’s always too salty, that’s why I love it

They have the best fried rice in Baton Rouge. The red beans are also very good.

My change your opinion when you get high blood pressure. I still enjoy it, just not as often.
