After I was already on the road this morning, I realized I forgot to pack my lunch- I figured I'd go ahead and use this as an excuse to stop by the new Firehouse Subs in Covington.
Overall- I never want Subway or Quiznos again
I got the Hero sub on wheat- absolutely delish. I would highly recommend the place

10 dollars for a large (12 inch) with chips and a drink. 7-8 dollars for a medium (6-7 inches) with chips and a drink.

I only go about once every six months. I had this in my most recent trip, and it rates a home run.

I love the hook and ladder with the cherry lime-aid.

Same here except I get a Diet Coke with mine.

quote:More expensive than something like a Subway. $5.79-$6.19 for medium (8inches) and add $2 for large. The medium was LOADED with meat, they really don't skimp. With that being said a medium is about the same amount of food as a subway footlong

i like Firehouse.....but dont look at the nutritional chart. used to eat the hook an ladder fairly often.......Until i saw the large sandwich on wheat was 1150 calories and 56 fat grams. A Big Mac the horrific McD's is 550 with 26.

i like them but sometimes it takes way too long so i can only go when I have a little time to kill
their steaming process really makes the sandwiches very flavorful and delicious and their cherry limeaid is awesome

I've become a big Firehouse fan since they opened up in Covington. I'm still trying to further explore the menu but I have yet to have anything but a great sandwich.
