I'm tired of the pissing contests between Nick and Carlos.
Pretty bad when Nick ran over and pot empty pots on the three front burners and then bitched "Don't move my pots."
He couldn't have let Carlos have one front burner?
I think Nick was the one who miss set his oven temperature to 500. They have too many cameras and would have caught it if Carlos had adjusted the oven temperature up to 500. That would have been the thing they would certainly have shown, had it been true.
Nick is a whiney baby. He needs to grow up and take responsibility for his cooking. when he does good, he is in charge. When he messes up, it seems to always be someone else who was responsible.

Agree.
Justin was the same way. Someone else's fault or the judges were wrong.

I wanted to like the guy and every show came away feeling like he let me down. It seemed to me that he was afraid of cooking NO (Cajun or Creole)style and always came up short of the judges expectations, when they would have been very happy to see classic Louisiana dishes coming form him.

I was surprised that Justin bombed on his flavors so often. His food at LPG is very good. Not my favorite Nola restaurant, but certainly worthy of a visit if you've never been there. Of course, I didn't taste the food on the show, so I may have enjoyed it.

nick is talented no doubt, but i felt like his overall body of work saved him last week, and kind of felt the same this week. They seemed more critical of his food than they did Carlos'

The brief look at the body of the winner looked like Carlos to me. Hard to tell, though. They played up Carlos thinking he won and Louis looking pretty dismal. Carlos cooked the fish properly, but had flavor problems. Louis had the flavor but overcooked fish. Who knows.

For a long time I thought Nina would win, because her food is solid.
Now I am becoming suspicious that Shirley will take it away from her.
As long as Mr. whiney pants (Nick) eventually fails I will consider the competition to have been fairly portrayed.
