Today is the 15th Anniversary of the Jambalaya Calculator

My neighbor was 100% against this as he's a big cook by eye type.
As am I.
But I kept explaining to him it just makes it so easy to calculate a shopping list.
Finally the other day he asked, "can you use your calculator to tell me what I need for a 100 gallon pot"
He'd never done above 20 and was questioning ratios at that point.
Ran it through, spit it out, and he did a great job on a BIG pot.
Although I've never seen a 100 gallon jambalaya with THAT much meat
I always end up tweaking a bit here and there, but it's just too damned easy.
As am I.

Probably use this a dozen times a year. Usually small cooks at the house for the fam. Great resource!

Actually used this for the first time last week to cook for 50 people. First time I’ve cooked for that many people and it came out perfect. Couldn’t have done it with out the Jambalaya calculator

I've used this so many times. I have a printed copy with an 80% fill recipe for all of my pots. Thanks again to you and also for Poche's contributions as well. I remember you getting input from a few wise people on here.
