restaurants go overboard when they try to "elevate" nachos or whatever. nachos dont need to be elevated. give me some overly salty tostitos, a chemical concoction that you legally cannot call cheese, a couple of barely picked jalapenos, and a drop of sour cream that is running off the sides. that is much superior to a plate of supposedly freshly fried chips made from homemade tortillas, three cheese blend queso, handmade guacamole, fire roasted tomato salsa, fresh herbs, and some lime/avocado/citrus sour cream blend

those shitty nachos you get at the ballpark or movies are vastly superior to the fancier nachos you will find at restaurants and breweries
