ETA, Griff's actually isn't that bad (it's not "good" by any means, but there are plenty of worse places, I suppose).
It's just the most randomly odd fast food establishment in La.

Funny you should pick them...thats who I was thinking when I posted. The one in Harahan is really horrible. Never gets the order right and the food is usually cold. Steer clear of them.

There are some nasty arse Subway scattered about. Not saying all Subways are vile and disgusting, but the bad one are intestinal wrenching pits of brown lettuce, rancid chicken parts and mucus.

I have never been to a Popeye's in LA where I got a correct order in a timely manner and was treated like a human being. It's no wonder they put crack in their food. They have to to get repeat business.

I have had good luck at the ones in AL.

Burger King and Popeye's are the worst at being slow as frick and getting orders mixed up. Arby's isn't much better.

Yea, there are more foul Burger Kings than edible ones. Burger King would be my second choice mainly due to the shear numbers of Subways and the easiness for derelicts to obtain a franchise.

You want specific places?
One time on my way to BR from NOLA on Satruday morning, I stopped at Wendy's in Laplace for breakfast (yes, I realize that's my fault). I got cold burrito for $2.35 or whatever and hand over a $10 bill. The girl gave me back a five and change.
When I asked her about it, she didn't even flinch, just opened the drawer and gave me the two dollars she shorted me.
Open theivery at the Wendy's in Laplace makes it the worst place I've been to.

The ones that are closed...think about that...fast food places closing is rare....they were the absolute WORST
