Cool vibes, expensive cocktails

It isn't bad, nice little evening but it is small with a few couches to sit on. Drinks are hella expensive though and when we went the menu only had like twelve drinks listed and no prices.

I expected more tunnel, TBH. It’s blocked off.
We also stood in a line for drinks for a long time, which felt odd for a bar. The bar is just like a popup booth.

It’ll never be built in time.

Went once and will not go back. Cool vibe but expensive drinks and awkwardly in the same room with a very diverse group.

Went once and won’t go back. It’s the the size of a broom closet with 1 bar that takes forever. Not joking, it took me 20min to get a couple of drinks. Super cramped and uncomfortable once the novelty wears off after about 2 minutes

Didn’t realize B arRa had a tunnel…

It smelled like sewer when we went. Hard to get past that.
Yes, it’s small, but it’s cozy and has a cool vibe. Fun furniture, quirky little bar and drinks. I think they were expensive but drinks are expensive anywhere these days. It really is a neat concept.
They were limiting people down there, but you are still in very close quarters with people you don’t know. We went as a group and there were a few other groups down there.
We didn’t really all mesh well.
They should book individual parties of X (whatever their max number is) for two hours so groups can truly appreciate the experience with their own people and want to go back- because we won’t be back as it is now.
For a better experience close by, try The Vintage - half coffee bar half alcohol bar with apps. Neat space, knowledgeable bartenders, excellent drinks.

Went for the comedy show on NYE. I don't know how many tickets were sold, but there were only a couple dozen people there, so not too crowded and not much of a line for drinks. Cool atmosphere and we had a blast. But I understand we went for a ticketed event, so it was probably different than on other nights.

The comedy shows there are always great. The novelty wears off quick otherwise in my opinion. Not really set up for true speakeasy type seating.

Why is it named The Tunnel?

Hayride Scandal is better and probably a bit cheaper if you want the speakeasy vibe.

the speakeasy is inside part of a tunnel that Huey Long once used to shuffle mistresses around between hotels and dodge the press.
