The new Hubigs are crap

I got a coconut earlier this week that had no filling in it.
I got a lemon today and the filling had the consistency of Elmer’s glue that had set up for a few minutes.

I remember Hubig's from my years at LSU. I liked them but not to the extent some do. I got a different brand lemon pie here in Santa Fe last Friday, wasn't worth the calories.

It took them 10 years to get up and running again and it’s probably going to take a little time for them to work out all the kinks.

What did it seem like to you previously?
I actually think the crust has improved and the current apple in an air fryer for 4-5 minutes is money.

I had a couple of the apple.
First bite was nothing but crust and all the liquid squirted out of the bottom onto my shirt. Second bite (after cursing for two minutes) was still crust. Third bite I finally got some apple filling and it was very tasty.

Negative. I have had a few apples and lemons with only 1 being subpar but otherwise very tasty like in the past. Heated up for 20 seconds with a cup of coffee!

Seriously they never were good. If I’m choosing to cheat on calories and fat then I’m eating something different than a Hubigs.
