Hate to see it go, but figured it wouldn't last long after Ray died.

They had the best restaurant gumbo in BR.

Surprised it lasted this long.
I want to buy it...but don't have any money.
I was working there bartending when Warren Morris hit the homerun.

Damn. We go there every week. I wonder if Mango’s will buy it...

How has Mango's done since Oasis opened up? Has it hurt them very much?

I thought this happened a few years ago...
For the record it was my grandfathers favorite restaurant. He ate there and franks weekly.

His family have been giving the business a go since he passed away.

This makes me really sad. Used to eat lunch there regularly when I worked on Sherwood, but the couple of times we went for dinner after gf’s volleyball, there weren’t ever more than 5-6 other people in there.

I played at Mangos for about 3 years and used to always wonder what that place was. Lived in Baton Rouge for 30 years and had never heard of it/knew it was a restaurant

Same here. Born and raised in BR and this week was the first I've ever heard of the place. Any other local spots that don't necessarily get the media attention?

Caribbean Joe's right around the corner is a great little lunch spot.

Our office is just up the street. The lunch crowd this whole week has been ridiculous. More than enough cars to fill every table in the place.

How much are they asking?
