if you guys dont understand by now, he'll omit an obvious great place on his top 10( in this case the joint) in order to cause an uproar. This happens in every one. You'll also see the addition of some place that sucks (see Whole Food hamburgers, chik fila chicken sandwich, etc) just to get the threads to go over 1 page.

This. Every list has some preposterous inclusion or omission or claim. Impastato's, Gumbo Shop, Chick Fil A, etc etc

i wouldnt anchor it. i feel 80% of his top 10 lists are genuine and create good discussion. But he always adds 1 or 2 places just to get reaction.

Does it on the Movie board too. Different subject, same scheme.

You are out of your mind if The Joint didn't even make the list.

Just curious why you didn't say anything about the places like you normally do, but went into great detail on the history. Is it b/c you really havent't been to 10 BBQ places in the area?

Lester, have you ever made a top ten list and put it here? I can guarantee you that most of the time, if you did, you would include an unpopular choice and you would exclude a popular choice. If you haven't figured out why, take a statistics course.

If it wouldn't be so blatantly obvious, you may have a point.

Of course if i did a top 10 list, occasionally there would be an unpopular choice.

But if i did several top 10 lists, and on every list there was an unpopular choice that EVERYONE but you disagreed with belonged/didnt belong, when then i would just be a troll like you. It stands out like a sore thumb, because the majority of the lists are solid choices.

I think they have the worst BBQ sauce known to man and their meat, while cooked decently, doesn't taste very good without the sauce.

As I said previously, onion chunks. Onion chunks. I want smooth sauce. I don't want to fee like I'm eating salsa infused with sugar and smoke.

In the context of the meaning of that sentence would you disagree? What distinguishes Carolina BBQ from Texas BBQ from Memphis BBQ?

Of these, I've only had a few.

Then use their East Carolina sauce. While vinegary it adds to the pork.

Plus the Joint may have the best rubs.

For now no one is touching McClure's choice of sauces, or BooKoo's totally different dill infused sauce, but The Joint sauce wasn't bad, and I don't think I have ever seen chunks in mine.
