And I think they are pretty tasty. If you ate a mountain oyster and did not know what it was you could easily mistake it for a real fried oyster. Has anyone else tried them?

Oysters are too readily available for me to go around putting bollocks in my mouth.

I tried deer balls once, they were under a buck! I did really try them, and they were good, but there is so much better protein on a deer.

Beef stroganoff is pretty tasty.
Progresso Gumbo soup in can is pretty tasty.
A dill pickle is pretty tasty.

Gonna have to be outer-body orgasmic tasty tor me to try animal testicles. Adjectives chosen carefully on this.

So so many good foods out there…and lots are more than pretty tasty.

I've had them...no issues eating them again.

But, they aren't in any way similar to a good fried oyster other than the frying part.

Yes,
But it was like eating fried leather.

I don't know, there's something about putting balls in my mouth that just isn't appealing to me.

I ate a place on Route 66 in Oklahoma. They had something called "calf fries" on the menu. That sounded good, as I thought it would be some kind of beef nuggets or something. They came out with a dipping sauce and I ate about half of them. The texture was pretty weird, and I started to get suspicious. I pulled out my phone and looked up "calf fries" and read "rocky mountain..." frick....

I did not eat the rest. Texture was just too weird.

Yeah well, I suspect it's because they are full of semen!

Nah I'm good. I'm not trying to be Anthony Bourdain out here. Just want to eat food I like.

The closest I've had to a fried oyster was a pig eyeball from a whole hog cook. It didn't taste like an oyster but had the same texture as a fried oyster.

My bad, sounded like a coming out of the closet announcement when I read the thread title.

I have had calf and rooster fries at a clay target event that used to be held up here. liked them. Really good with a cold beer.

I would love to sit down with these guys and try this dish:
