My friend texted me that Fisherman’s Cove in Kenner had boiled crawfish and he said deep water.
Is that something new? I’ve never heard of crawfish this time of the year.
And yes, if this is a real thing, I’m well aware they will expensive as all hell.

They're called deep water crawfish due to the surface of the water being further away from the bottom.

I don't know about "deep water crawfish", but a couple of years ago there was talk about some crustacean similar to a crawfish that would be available in the normal off season. But they were talking about October to January, I think.
