One week vacation at the end of this month with family (8 adults, 4 kids). Staying in the North Reddington Beach area. Will probably venture out for a couple of meals. Any recs would be appreciated.
Wife and I are planning to break away one afternoon and visit Cigar City for some Jai Alai at the source.

A lot of people rave about Berns steakhouse. I went once and it was pretty good but I didn’t think it was anything to write home about.

Columbia Restaurant, Ted Peter’s Smoked Fish

Tampa: Cigar City at their brewery.
Columbia is ok if you want a Cuban or meat with yellow rice.
Berns is good but overhyped.
Redington: Seabreeze, Salt Rock.
Madeira Beach: Dockside Dave's. Angry Pepper. Frog Pond for breakfast/brunch.
Mad Beach brew co is probably the best place in johns pass.
Treasure Island: has a good amount of variety. VIP Mexican is good for drinks, not bad on food. R Bar daily specials are great (kids allowed but not where I'd take kids). Floridian has as good of food as the Columbia.
St Pete Beach: Agave for real Mexican. Willy's Burgers & Booze.
Tierra Verde: Good Times, Alsace, Sea Worthy. Nothing bad at any of these three. Philadeli if you're going to DeSoto and want a good cheesesteak.
Downtown St Pete: lots of options along the Central corridor.
Near the pier - Cassis, Red Mesa, Brick & Mortar.
Nueva Cantina (it's on the southside...)
FWIW St Pete is better than anything in Tampa. Ybor is mini New Orleans

Rooster and the Til is a great dinner spot if you and the wife can sneak away for that
Skip cigar city and goto angry chair instead if you can only do 1 brewery adventure.

Ybor is a lot of fun. Rusty Belly restaurant in Tarpon Springs (30 miles from Tampa) is a great seafood/pie local option.

Follow up to this..
We never ate in Tampa since it was a 30-40 minute drive from where we were staying. But if you ever stay in N Reddington Beach area, here are a few of my recs:
The Conch Republic Grill - This place was always packed. We ordered takeout from here twice.
Guppy's on the Beach - It's about six miles north in Indian Rocks. Great seafood spot. I was really impressed with the selection and quality. Get the scallops.
Mad Beach Brewing - Nice selection of brews. The Czech Pilsner and Dolphin Drool Pale Ale were solid. They also had good food for lunch.
Nachman's - Local spot where you can pick up fresh fish and cook at home. They are famous for their smoked fish spread.

Charlie's steakhouse is fantastic. We couldn't get into Bern's but went to Charlie's. It was fantastic. Capital Grille near the mall in Tampa is good as well. Best bread i've ever eaten, and the lobster mac and cheese is ridiculous.
Davidoff of Geneva for some good cigars and a good bourbon list.
Angry Chair Brewing, Cigar City (brewery is ok).
Didn't have a chance to go, but when i go back, i want to go down to Ybor city for cuban food and cigars.

Co-sign on Columbia. I could have ordered every item on the menu.

Charleys and yes its good. Berns is more about the experience, tour, wine selections and the dessert train cars.
