Would Taco Cabana do well in BR? I would think a 24-hour taco place that serves alcohol would be perfect for Burbank/Lee area will all the proximity to students/LSU. Breakfast tacos there with the freshly made tortillas would kill, IMO.

Yes it would. Always hit up TC when I visit Texas.

Yes. I’d keep it in business all by myself.

Izzo's top brass coming in hot with the downvotes. Settle down guys, I'd still come in for my weekly steak nachos.

Is there a dearth of mediocre Mexican joints in BR? Theyve been shutting down stores in Texas so maybe Louisiana would be a good market for them.

No. Torchys is about to open and is wayyy better than Taco Cabana. I’m interested to see how they do.

There’s also a fuzzys and Taco Bell in that area. It’s quickly being over saturated with tacos and Burger joints.

Maybe so but two of the more recent burger additions are great. Small's Sliders or Atomic Burger have been my go to when craving a burger.

I love Atomic Burger. I gave Smalls a try when I visited my parents last week.

The food tasted great, but both me and my sister felt nauseous afterwards for hours. Not sure what’s up with that...but I’ll probably stick to Atomic if I’m in the area.

Years ago when I worked in Houston I would pick up breakfast tacos (7am) for one of my clients (oilfield) 2 or 3 times a week (@50 tacos) and there were never any leftovers - Taco Cabana was great, but that was years ago - if nothing has changed I would be a loyal customer again - everything they put out was good - I would prefer to see them open in the Perkins Road area

Their breakfast tacos are the best fast food breakfast anywhere. That make your own dozen is the shiznit. My family of four can knock out breakfast on the cheap and be very happy doing it.

Those places aren’t 24 hours though. TC with the all day/night service including breakfast with alcohol would kill.
