i know i know, shrimp & taco bell should never ever be mentioned in the same sentence but i had a couple of their shrimp tacos last night, and i would eat them again.

now, if burger king would only start serving a crawfish etouffee.

Taco Bell really wasn't bad back in the day. During my college years I did a stint as a worker, then a manager. Back then they would pressure cook whole dried beans with lard, then physically drill them to smooth them out. The beef was absolutely fresh too, and unless they've changed again recently, Pepsico has since completely ironed out the quality as the beans are powdered and the meat is bagged and boiled. I can only imagine the other changes that have since been implemented.

I don't recall purchasing anything from there in at least two decades.

^ what he said.

It should be nothing more than drunk food. If you look at it that way, it is excellent for its price.

I want to say that they also used coconut oil for their fried products. Coupled with the lard, no wonder the food tasted so much better.

compared to what it used to be it's not. 39 cent taco sundays were the shite. we would order 50 of them. the look on their faces was classic.

Not really.

You've been mislead about what's heart healthy and what's not. Animal fats are perfectly fine for you, cholesterol isn't a direct cause of heart disease, and carbs are actually bad for you.

Taco Bell is delicious still, but I agree they were better back in the gap.

You stay the frick away from my Taco Bells

It is the only fast food place I will defend with my life. Me and the Taco Bell had many fond memories together back in college. We've grown apart over the years, like many old friends have, but I still like to see it around. Gives me a warm feeling inside.

they've redone the inside of the g o'neal taco bell...the decor is very nice..it's almost fine dining IMO. plus, they use pacific shrimp, so i guess they're caught off the coast of california..can't go wrong with caifornia shrimp.

I love how taco bell advertise them a "Pacific Shrimp" like that is a good thing. They are from china, and are probably terrible quality. No other restaurant boasts about their chinese shrimp

I also was awestruck by the interior makeover;
the individual who took my order was very polite
and neatly dressed...
