Tabasco Scorpion Sauce

Finally found it at Albertson's. It is by far the best Tabasco blend and may replace my current favorite sauce (Melinda's Ghost Pepper). It has great heat and texture w/o a vinegar taste. It was $2.49, so you wont lose much trying it.

What would you compare the heat level to?

I've heard it's really hot, but heat level is dependent on the user. I still haven't seen it in the wild yet, but plan to buy it when I do!

I love this sauce. It is fricking hot hot hot and tasty. They sell it at some gift shop on Royal St. in the Quarters. Can't remember the name off the top of my head but that's the only place I've seen it.

I still haven't found any in stores. May have to order online here. I love a good Scorpion sauce though. The heat typically builds and builds but doesn't linger as long as other peppers.
I think i read it's 6-8 times hotter than tabasco, but less vinegary so its a good heat that doesn't destroy your mouth

The Tabasco website says that the Scorpion sauce has a Scoville rating of 35,000.
Regular Tabasco is 2500-5000.

I really like it. Good bit of heat. And flavor is different

Have you tried Melinda's Ghost Pepper Sauce ?
It's a little bit hotter and a little thinner, so just a bit goes a long way. It's not on the level of Dave's Insanity Sauce, which hardly anyone would use, but it's hot enough and I enjoy spicy/hot dishes.

Looks like the changed the label. I have 24 left that I got it to put in some hot sauce baskets but never got around to it and now they are out of date. Won’t use them now. Anyone in laffy want one you can come grab one. I’ll be back in town next week nolagt3 at gmail send ya TD handle no lurkers up in dis lol
It’s pretty good...pretty hot too IMO. Haven’t had any in a while and don’t know how being last the best by date effects it. But free if ya want.

Usually just color, the stuff lasts a lot longer than the best by date. It doesn't have all the ingredients the Habanero blend has so it should be just fine.

Oh yea im sure it is...just not sure how/if its changed from a fresh batch (other than color). I just cant/wont sell it with a old date so its just sitting.

Mix Dave's with sugar and buttermilk as a chicken marinade.
It's outstanding.
Chocolate plague is my go to.

Email dat.
Willing to ship if anyone wants to pay shipping. Looks like about $8 for a padded priority envelope. Have to get some in hand to make sure.
