Are you referring to the Texas Pete that is manufactured in North Carolina? That stuff is garbage.

I'm glad to see that Tabasco is clearly the OT favorite here. You other guys must feel silly.

In that order.

I want my hot sauce to add a little spice, not just have the flavor of hot sauce.

So are you saying that you prefer Tabasco?

I actually use Sraracha on everything except red beans and gumbo now. For those I go Tabasco.

Its better on some things. Crystal is better on others. Depends on the food in my mind. Tobasco is like jack daniels whiskey. it has a personality all of its own. It dominates the food like JD goes better straight than mixed.

Gotta agree on Louisiana over Tabasco. Do people in Louisiana like Cajun Power Garlic Sauce? It doesn't have any heat (the original, the picy version has some heat), but I love the flavor.

Crystal and Tabasco are different, crystal is more flavor but not as hot. Tabasco is the opposite. I like them both

Nothing better than:

A pack of wings cut tips and separate drumstick

Put in a bowl an cover with a little oil then mix

Season with some Tony's, Black Pepper, garlic pretty heavily and mix up again.

Let sit for an hour or so in the fridge.

Cook on flame broil pit until done

Make your sauce: Unsalted Butter, a little Tony's, Garlic, and Louisiana Hot Sauce

Take the cooked wings and mix them a few at a time in the mixture then put back on the pit for about 5 minutes to glaze.

Take off and Eat like crazy!!

I like them better than fried.
