If 4 pieces of tuna over rice, 4 pieces of salmon over rice, and then 8 pieces of a roll that is also topped with salmon don't fill you up.. well..
I'm just sayin.
Last time I got it, it was 8 pieces of this:
.. with 8 pieces of this
$12!

I crave good sushi more than most foods. If good sushi isn't close, the mediocre sushi does not satisfy my sushi cravings. For me sushi is not a trend.

Never heard of sushi but I'm not exactly a hipster

No offense, but I could eat about 6 of those
When I go to Sushi Masa, I generally eat 5 rolls by myself, plus a kani salad and sone apps. Crazy thing is, I'm not overweight at all.

id never waste my money on sushi, but if someone is buying, sure. It just has no flavor. i assume thats why everyone has to put sauce and wasabi on it.

Well you fat-appetite
That is definitely within the proper serving as far as health goes. You eat big ole CFS and stuff at lunch? Do you not fall asleep of food coma?

I usually order 2 entrees and either an app or dessert (or both) when I go out to eat. For example, yesterday at City Pork I ate a Big Pig sandwich w/ some chips, plus the daily lunch special which was 3 pieces of fried chicken and 2 sides (dirty rice and hash brown casserole), plus a slice of chocolate cream pie.
And yes, I generally take 3-hour naps afterwards.
I also usually only eat once a day, with some snacks here or there.

Yes, I'm a teacher, so I generally don't eat anything all day til I get off work around 3. By that time I'm really hungry and eat quite a bit. On weekends I can eat whenever I want and crash afterwards.
I'm 6'3"/225

Slightly off topic. If I have sushi for lunch, it does something to my blood sugar. By 4:00 I have the shakes and I can't concentrate and I don't feel good until I eat something else, usually having to eat something carby, fast. How much sugar do they put in the sticky rice?!
Posted on 1/20/16 at 9:08 pm to Darla Hood
you might be allergic to something because i dont think the rice has any sugar.
eel sauce has sugar along with a number of other items that have sugar

I've read up on sushi after noticing the shakes on several occasions. Sugar is an important ingredient in sushi rice.
Just Googled and some recipes call for two tablespoons of sugar for every two cups of cooked rice. That's a lot of sugar. Also, depending on the type of roll, there might be more sugar.
At any rate, I need to avoid it.
