Totally agree, ridiculous price per portion/cheap ingredient peasant fare. They are proud of themselves!
But, their topshelf margs, chicken tortilla soup, black beans, salsa, blue corn stack chicken enchilada, and shrimp fajitas are solid.
P.S. Ninfas has went so much further down the hole since TJ Moran owned it, it's not even funny, it's nearly inedible at times..garbage.

Ninfa's has gotten to be inedible. It really is an overpriced Taco Bell these days. I started a thread bout their demise a few weeks ago. Truly disgusting.

Even the crowd there to drink, sucks. Last time I went it was a bunch of 40 and 50 year old people getting shitfaced and trying to dance. The margaritas are not really that good in my opinion.

They've really gone down hill. Just like Ninfa's. Went there Saturday for my wife's bday. I used to love the fajitas. They were....ok. Nothing special. It's to a point that it's hard to find good mexican food.
The really good places went to shite. Ninfa's, Superior, Coyote Blues has all gone down in service, cleanliness, and quality of food.

There are probably 10 places in Shreveport/Bossier that have Superior Steakhouse beat. The Steakhouse is like Superior Bar & Grill for people that have money- you go to see and be seen.
I don't really favor either one of them, but I won't turn my nose up at it either. The carnitas at lunch are pretty legit.

For example, everyone loved going to Serrano's because it was the "meet-up spot for gameday & monday margs". The menu was absolute shite & was never going to change.
