Subway story im sure no one cares about.

I was a few seconds late on starting the “WFDT” tonight and added a story so im changing the title. Curds, its all yours bud.
I was craving Subway and have been eating pot roast for like 4 straight meals. (Not mad)
Got the Subway club with everything except cucumbers, toasted with pepperjack & oil/vinegar. I love a veggie filled sandwich.
Cringe story: Just me and another guy in the store. The guy in front of me orders a footlong with american cheese and tuna toasted. Lady working toasts the cheese and then scoops 4 fat scoops of tuna on the bread while he sits in front of it watching. The lady then asks how he wants it dressed, and he says, “No, I asked for meatballs…..” the lady was like, uhhhhhhhh meatballs?? He says, “forget it ill take it.” Just throws a mood aggressively grabbing his chips and taking deep breaths like he is trying to calm down. This guy was white mid 50s wearing business clothes…
Im non-confrontational with idiots so I had to bite my tongue, but I wanted to tell that dude how stupid he is for ordering tuna, watching her scoop it, and then bitching about it.

I can’t say I’ve ever craved subway.
It’s also amazing how far that chain has fallen being how insanely popular it was in the early 2000s

I eat a lot of sandwiches. The ability for me to put lettuce, spinach, bellpepper, onion, tomato, japs, banana peppers, black olives, etc is the reason I go and what I crave.

I remember the first time I ever had Subway like it was yesterday. It was like 1990 or so, very similar to how you described in OP lots of veggies oil and vinegar and I remember just being amazed at how great it was. I don’t think I’ve had a decent subway sandwich in 10 years now. Their bread is terrible now, the service in the two locations closest to me is horrible, and there’s no competition near me. Firehouse subs is good but they only offer hot sandwiches and sometimes you want a cold sandwich.

Went in Subway and ordered a salad. The kid making it asked me if I wanted the tomatoes sliced in 4ths or quarters.
I paused for a bit, figured he was high as hell, and went with quarters.

I saw a grown man get a cheese only sub not too long ago. Another where a different guy asked specifically for the salt and pepper to be put on pre toasting. There’s some weird ones out there

That’s funny because I’ve asked before and was told no, and when I was leaving today I hear the girl at the drive through saying they only offered warm sandwiches. I’m not saying you are wrong but the Sulphur location must not know they should offer them cold.

My subway story is; I went a couple weeks ago and ordered foot long, roasted chicken with American cheese. Got the chips and drink with it. Total was $15!!!! For a fricking sandwhich
