This! Every time I go to Whataburger, I hope that the green chile burger is back as a special. Sadly, haven't seen it in a couple years.

If it is cooked to order, it is not fast food.

In NOLA...

The Bud's Broiler #4 with an extra patty, chili, cheese, and onions

Elsewhere...

I love Whataburger and want to know why they have them in Gonazalez and Gulfport (both sides of NOLA), but none here.

NOLA's lack of a Whataburger is one of the few things missing from it's fantastic food scene. Not even joking.

Double whopper with cheese plain. The key is to get it plain and dip it into your condiments. That way, it isnt drenched with shite and soggy as a wet sock

I thought Whataburger is cooked to order? But you're right, some posters seem confused on what is fast food.

All time favorite: Burger Chef. Sadly, long gone...

Other than that,

1) Griff's in Ruston
2) Whataburger

My favorite. I used to live across the street from a Bud's in New Orleans and dined there many times. Give me two Number Ones with onions! They opened one in Baton Rouge many years ago but it never caught on. I think the location had a lot to do with that.

I call if fast food if you have to belly up to the register to place your order and then pick it up yourself. I've done that more than a few times at Burger King. I don't see where Bud's Broiler or Five Guys is any different.
