Is the Poboy USA roast beef a debris style or more sliced meet style? Their prices are not bad, might give them a try.

And what about their fried rice, any good?

Technically not a poboy, but Rouj Creaole has a Fried Oyster BLT that they served with a bacon/onion jam and it is fantastic.

Rocco's roast beef

I actually prefer his catfish poboy, if you like seafood poboys. Oyster is good, too. Rocco uses the right bread and it hits the spot.

Also, not in BR and havent been in years, but growing up I loved when we got Mike's Poboys in Gonzales for dinner. Really liked getting their Grilled Ham, with a side pork fried rice.

Went to school with the owner's daughter as well and remember her fondly.

Save More had the long ones for like $4 or $5 each. I used to get the smoked sausage all the time. Damn thing was over 2’ long.
