Speaking of fancy restaurants, I plan on visiting one a month

My girlfriend and I enjoy dining out but for a while now we've been mostly cooking at home and visiting our routine haunts in Baton Rouge (Sushi Yama, Albasha, Bay Leaf, etc.)
She's originally from upstate New York and while I grew up and dined in New Orleans, the idea is foreign to her but one she wants to try. I told her let's do one really nice restaurant a month and she agreed. So I did a quick search and found the top 10 for 2015.

La Petite Grocery

Looks like a mighty fine list to me and I've eaten at about half of these, but wanted the board's thoughts on any fine-dining establish that may have gotten left off the list. I was to do Brennan's, Antoine's, and Galatoire's at some point but I find that cuisine so very tired.

I'd start with these three:

I havent been but I talked to a chef at August and they said dont bother wasting your money there.

Square Root will be an expensive gamble but both of use are interested in molecular gastronomy so of course this one she wants to go to.

Make sure to save money for a Wendy's burger after you spend 40 bucks an entree and only get four or five bites worth

Very solid list. I'd add Coquette, Patois, and for when you feel like getting all gussied up, Galatoires...

If you're into modernist cuisine/molecular gastronomy, by all means check out Square Root. I may have been the only one on TD who's actually been there. Everyone else knows a friend of a friend who's been there with their handed down opinion. I would love to hear LSUZombie feedback from Square Root.
Not knocking August, but that's a pretty harsh statement, especially since August can be more expensive. Zombie, when you do go, please report back. We can compare notes.

Antoine's is great only for nostalgia and the baked Alaska. Otherwise it's just some really over priced food.
Dante's kitchen is a great spot. I'd add boucherie to your list also.
