Spatchcock wing tucking consensus

Do you tuck? I usually do for a whole bird, but I'm looking at various pics on the internet and it's about 50-50. I've made spatchcock chicken before but I'm curious as to what you do and why.
I've found that tucking the wings on a whole bird helps it stand up better but I don't see much of advantage in tucking for a spatchcock bird. Does not tucking a spatchcock bird help protect the breast better perhaps?

Nah, Chicken shouldn't get mad about chicks, as long as the young chicks are chickens..
Carry on with yer wing tucking.. I'll look at the pictures.

I tuck to ensure the skin on the breast cooks evenly. I imagine it helps only incrementally, but tucking is so easy, I don't think there is any reason for me to not do it.

Tuck.
It causes the whole wing to cook slower do they don't overcook by the time the rest of the bird is done.

Do you have a recipe/step by step for this if I do it in the oven? Will it come out like the pic on the right?

Do you have a meat thermometer, aluminum foil, and a few TBS of butter?

I do not tuck when spatchcocking. I will tuck when leaving it whole and roasting low and slow.
Eta: I usually only spatchcock on the grill.

I always tuck the wings, whether its a chicken or turkey, whole or spatched, baked, roasted, smoked, or fried ... but not because of anything to do with cooking of the meat.
I do it because i don't like tan lines on the breasts.

I thought this thread was about pre-op transgenders of which I prefer the tuck. Makes it easier to talk to them.
