Must not be too hard. Every time I pick up Asian food to go at a restaurant they throw three times as many packs of soy sauce as I need into the bag.

I just bought a new bottle of Kikkoman a couple days ago. Lots of other varieties available, especially at the Asian markets like others have said.
I bought it because I was running low and was planning to make ginger dipping sauce, the kind you find at Japanese hibachi steakhouses. Incidentally and fwiw, every recipe I found online includes onion as a major ingredient (as well as soy sauce, obviously).

Go to an Asian grocery and get the premium dark soy. It is a game changer.

Costco has pallets of the big gallon jugs as well. Rouses and calandros all have fully stocked shelves as well. Not sure where OP lives because it’s not a problem here in BR
