3 times in 10 days.

Not the only business in town experiencing this either.

BR is a colossal dump

BRPD will be there to investigate right after they stamp out the scourge of expired inspection stickers.

That place needed more culture, so the residents are providing some every few nights

They announced on FB that they’re closing for good at the end of August.

Batin Rudge claims another one!

That's really unfortunate - I frequented there for coffee and pastries when lived in BR. They had a very friendly knowledgeable staff and served a good nice in the community.

Much preferred going there vs Starbucks or CCs

I don’t go there, but they’re keeping that shopping center alive. I wonder why they’re closing. Always busy.

At least someone on this board has empathy still. Feel bad for the employees who had to go through that (multiple times apparently) and the owner who decided the business is no longer worth keeping.

Baton Rouge needs to do better.

They weren’t robbed, they were burglarized. Big difference.

For general knowledge: I thought they were held up or something based on the “robbed” title. But seems like they were burglarized while closed. Society often uses robbed and burglarized interchangeably, when we should not. For those who don’t know, basically, people are robbed and places are burglarized. If someone steals your purse or wallet, you were robbed. If someone breaks into your home when you’re not there, you were burglarized. The more you know!

Doesn’t change the fact that BR is a lawless sh*thole

I have no issues. Crime is everywhere in all cities. Baton Rouge isn’t special.

I didn’t see anything about them closing just that they were moving to a cash-less business. But don’t they have to use cash now because of that cash is king law
