I haven't gotten to this episode yet but I love the show. I thought Phil wasn't being genuine when I first saw the show but he's grown on me since.

I love this show. Phil truly makes a show about food enjoyable and removes all the bs and pretention from other hosts.

The show is just joyful. A Celebration of people, food and culture. If you can watch it and not be happy, I don’t know what to tell ya.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't even know there was more than one Doe's Eat Place locations, much less that the original is in MS! I really liked that place growing up in BR.

Julia Reed the lady eating with Phil at Does died a few months ago from cancer. She was 59.
