I'm doing three sacks. Gonna have the neighborhood over.

Got some beautiful bugs. Uniform size and super clean tails.

Have a good day tomorrow folks.

Look, if this thread gets whacked it'll be your fault.

Now are you burlin' or not?

How did yours look when you bought them?

Mine are beautiful but I had to pay .26 cents more per lb.

Generally the ones on the northshore right now are a mix of nice clean tailed bugs and hard shelled dirty tailed ones. The standard is 1.99/lb. The "select" is 2.25/lb.

Paid $2/lb from HEB in San Antonio. Nice mix of field run. Our main store was sold out, but we found some at another location. I’m all done; showered and relaxing in the house. I’ve tried a few but will get my fill later. It’s just me and the wife.

Were they shells hard or were the heads pinchable? Had some last week were you couldn’t even crush the heads

The heads are fairly hard right now but I can be ok with that if the tails are clean.

I boiled 2 sacks Sunday and you're right, it's getting too damn hot. Not only that, but the flies zoom in as soon as the bugs hit the table------and I hate flies. One minute they're crawling all over dog shite and dead animals and the next, they're trying to join in on the feast at the table.

That was my last boil of the year.
