Looks a little high but it comes all in one.. most require you to mount your self. Still requires you to buy your own regulator.
I use a double jet myself works for me with my 100qt pot.

Well there you go, Chicken.
And after all that discussion..........sometimes we need the quick and accessible option.
If you bought a double burner set-up, you should be able to get up to cooking temps in a reasonably quick amount of time.
Can you post a pic?

Now you need a 10 gallon propane tank cause that one sucks too fast for a 5 gallon, it's going to freeze up on you

You certainly won't have issues with water temps with that one.

Just block the wind with an ice chest or two .

I've had to borrow tanks from my 5th wheel before. Nice to have those there just in case.

Yeah, it seems like I can never buy enough of those things

Boils 100qt (half full) pot of water in a little over 5 minutes. It uses a shite TON of propane though. I went through 3/4 of a 5 gallon bottle in 2 sacks last weekend.
My homemade jet burner will bring my 120 qt. pot (around 40 percent full, no lid) to a screaming boil in around that range as well. Of course it sounds like an F-18, and that's with the ball valve opened only about 1/8th of full.
I agree with another poster, it's part of the fun. It will definitely blow through some propane though.

A 5 gallon propane tank will freeze up with that burner

When compressed gas leaves the tank, it causes the tank to get cold, with a layer of frost buildup on the outside.
This gets worse as the flow rate out of the tank increases.
Fin, you think it will affect the valve and impair the flow? I've never had a tank freeze up to the point of it becoming disabled before. So

If it does, you can try putting your bottle in a tub of water, or hose it off... If that doesn't suffice, get a bigger tank.

It does with those double burners, my uncles sells them and we have to submerge the tank in water to operate them off 5 gallons.

My guess is he doesn't own a tank and he buys propane via propane exchange. He'd need a spare bottle for sure.

Sounds like I just need a single burner jet...no?

The double you have is fine, my brother in law has the same one. We've boiled 4 times this year with absolutely no problem. We don't try to burn our leg hair off so we only crank it to the point of a healthy fire, and the tank may have a bit of ice on it...but it's fine. You got a good one and it will 100% work.
