Shrimp and Grits - First attempt

The wife wanted some shrimp and grits yesterday - of course I had no shrimp and no grits, so off to Rouse’s I went.
I used MDs recipe, that he has posted in the past.
MeridianDog’s Shrimp and Grits
Anything that starts with bacon and ends with heavy cream is a winner in my book.
The grits that I used were Bobs Red Mill Corn Grits - I was very happy with them.
Unfortunately i didn’t take any pics of the progress - just a final plate picture. I basically just followed the MD recipe.

They’re under there. The color of grits and the sauce really kinda blended together in the picture

R2R wasn't passive aggressive. He was usually aggressive aggressive.
MD- spends 3 days making a meal, taking 148 photos and creating a step by step pictorial thread.
