What y'all cooking for the game Saturday?
I'm thinking of smoking a Boston Butt. Drinking Bourbon pregame and switching to the white cans around kickoff.

Going to smoke some ribs and deep fry them. Garden has okra and green tomatoes so going to fry up some of them too. Probably snack on sausage while the ribs are smoking.

Ribs do sound good. I haven't done any in a while.

I have a chicken on the stove in a pot boiling away to cook enough to pull the meat to use in a pot of Chicken & Dumplings for Saturday.
I'll put the bones back in the pot after removing the meat and let the stock cook until tomorrow morning before shutting it off to cool. Then I'll have a nice concentrated stock for use in the dish and later use after freezing the rest.

Never had this or really heard of it. I am a fan of greens (turnip, mustard, all of them pretty much) though.
Care to share your recipe?

2 (20 ounce) cans turnip greens ( i use frozen greens)
2 (14.5 ounce) cans great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 package vegetable soup mix (such as Knorr's®)
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch Creole seasoning (such as Tony Chachere's®), or to taste
salt and ground black pepper to taste.
I also add a pack of conecuh sausage,
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir kielbasa and onion in the hot oil until the onion is tender, 5 to 7 minutes; set aside.
Step 2
Stir chicken broth, turnip greens, great Northern beans, vegetable soup mix, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, Creole seasoning, salt, and black pepper together in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir kielbasa mixture into the boiling broth mixture, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook at a simmer for 2 hours.

Sounds great to me. Going to have to give that a shot once the weather cools down.
For some reason, I cannot eat soup comfortably when its 85+ outside

The turnip green soup sounds great. My wife makes something similar with kale. Add some cornbread and you are set.

That’s nothing.

My wife just bought an air fryer. Have always wanted to try wings cooked that way. So I’ll be trying that
