Finns is great. Tell them about your occasion and they will make it great.

Pick a few that you really want and call them in case you haven't. Just a suggestion because many places aren't showing online/open table openings very well these days.

Go on OpenTable and roll the dice. You can put it day and time.

It's been a long time since I've been there, but I don't remember it being an anniversary kind of place, but what do I know.

How about Gautreaus, Le Petite Grocery, or some uptown places away from downtown?

LPG has an outdoor seating for 7:15 on Saturday. I had one of my best meals in the city there recently.

They have a scallop dish and some blue crab beignets that are pretty good. However if she's truly having fish preggers cravings you might be better off finding a place that has a fish entree.

Try Zasou. Best fish I've had besides Peche

Did Compere Lapin open back up?

If you have your heart set on G.W. Fins and can't get a reservation, eat at the bar. Go early, have a drink, get your wife something non-alcoholic, then order dinner when you are ready. That is one of my favorites.

Brigtsens is a nice little anniversary spot.

They had a speckled trout almandine that was very good back in December.

Keep calling up to a few hours before on Saturday as they will likely have cancellations

Obviously have a backup made just in case
