If the watermelon isn't sweet I'll occasionally add a little salt to try and bring out the sweetness but I rarely do this.

Odd watermelon combinations you wouldn't think are good but I'd recommend trying:

- A little salt and lime juice
- balsamic vinegar
- cinnamon
