The large filet from RC is heaven on a plate.

I also like the mashed potatoes and have them make up some brown gravy to go with it. The mac and cheese with lobster is our go to.

So miss that dish!

Not to hijack this thread but does anyone remember the restaurant that served escargot in garlic butter sauce with mini puff pastries on top of each?

Take my advice and win.

Go on a Friday for lunch. Take an Uber or hire a driver. Start with a pair of French 75s while your bottle of prisoner decants. Order the filet power lunch mid rare+ with a side of scalloped potato’s for the lady. Order the herb butter stuffed chicken (sleeper dish) and creamed spinach for yourself. Leave with a nice buzz and barely hitting over 150.00!

Any cut of beef is going to be delicious . If you like ribeye get it . Me and the wife’s go to sides are potatoes ah gratin and creamed spinach. If you like blue cheese, split the wedge salad with your wife . The appetizers are good but really with all the bread and then the meal you don’t really need it.

Went tonight. It was delicious. We split the chopped salad, creamed spinach and lobster mac n cheese, which was ridiculously good. Each of us got the large filet med rare. Wife took half home, I made mine disappear. Bread pudding a la mode for dessert along with some blueberry cheesecake concoction they gave us for free because we told them it was our anniversary. It tasted like jello no-bake, but it was free so I can't complain. 6 glasses of wine and the bill came to $240 with tip. Not necessarily something I'd do every month but we both said we want to go back in a few months to sample the ribeye and then again to try the strip.

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Wife had a blast and was very surprised.

I’m a ribeye guy but I finally had to admit last time that I prefer the filet my wife gets. Getting the filet there from now on.

Sounds great man. Glad you enjoyed it.

You know what I ate tonight? Packets of Taco Bell sauce. Yes, packets of fire Taco Bell sauce.
