They don’t use dry. It’s wet aged. The oven they use to cook steaks is the same as other higher end steak houses. It’s not all prime. I could go on more, but y’all’s Love for Ruth’s is undying.

Standards.
Like em or hate em, you know you will get a good meal when you walk in. "So and so is better", ok but RC is still damn good.

Like any fine steakhouse, they use dry aged prime steaks to serve their customers. Also, Ruth Fertel had special grills designed for her restaurants that got to 1800 degrees in order to cook the steaks to perfection. She also started the sizzling hot plate craze that sees the steaks coming to the table piping hot. They drop a dollop of butter atop the steak as it's plated and as it melts and hits the hot plate, it sizzles and adds another layer of flavor to the steak.
Eh she just ripped off her brother and started one in New Orleans instead of nowhere Port Sulpher.

Has just incredible steaks. I had the 22oz bone in ribeye and it was just perfection.

I love cooking my own steaks and my wife says they are fantastic but I cannot match that quality.
Only a small % of steaks are graded as prime, and they are mostly sold to steakhouses like this.
So if you want to up your steak game, you can find a butcher that will sell you prime steaks. Maybe the butcher at your local grocery store can get them, but they can be difficult to find otherwise.

Crescent City Steakhouse New Orleans, down the street from the original Chris Steakhouse and the original Ruth's Chris Steakhouse started the hot plate, sizzling butter delivery.
They did it BEFORE Ruth's or any other Louisiana steakhouse

You can walk into any Fresh Market and get at a minimum prime ribeyes, strips, and filets. They oftentimes have other prime cuts as well.

You don't need to go on. You've made yourself look stupid enough.

usually the non status-quo people are viewed that way.
I have been fortunate enough to eat at some great steakhouses. If you took the steak at Ruth’s and served it at most other places, going in blind, you would think you had an amazing steak. And they do it consistently, as the OP mentioned

Most higher end grocery stores will have at least some prime. But even beyond prime the better steak houses just routinely not only sell prime, but the best prime and better grades than are available to the average grocery store customer.
Prime is really only the beginning though, the American beef ranking scale is absolutely terrible though. I would agree what many don't understand is that their normal steak cooked at home is just not that good of a grade. Steak houses routinely have great cooked steaks because....well....they start with a great product.

Its not only about the fat marbling, but yes most people eat less of the fattier Wagyu than they would say a prime steak.
Given that, a good bit of the better steak houses and steaks you can buy the meat is treated better. Such as, as already explained, the aging process and what not.
I'm simply pointing out, that just because you buy a prime steak from your local grocery store doesn't mean it will be the same quality as a prime steak from a high end steak house. It could be very close, it may be very different.

Mobile is a great option…. Locally owned and the management has a strict policy around dress and cellphone usage….. love it no hats , no saggy pants, no cellphone… makes for a pleasing environment

Ok. I’ll stop posting my opinion that Ruth Chris is not “perfection” since better steaks can be found in any major city. Perfection literally means ‘perfect’ which would insinuate there is nothing better out there.
So there can be only 1 perfect steak eh? Chris’ has perfect therefore cancelling out any other steak and restaurant.
Got it. fricking dumbass.
Logic like this is why your opinions are discounted to junk status.
