Smoked salmon appetizer
Caesar salad no anchovies
Turtle soup
Lamb chops….wait….they don’t carry those anymore due to supply chain issues, except that is a lie. They don’t sell enough of them and don’t know how to control ordering to have them for the customers that like them. Very poor decision.
Spinach Au gratin
Praline freeze

Yes I am bitter.

In Louisiana, get your lamb fix at a Lebanese joint.

Also, I typically ask for my steak on a cold plate so it doesn’t keep cooking on the table.

The hot plate probably isn’t an issue for most people, but I like mine really rare and it cooks too long if I just leave it on that plate.

They were w/o a doubt the best thing on the menu. They were also the only place in BR that sourced lamb from CO. Everyone else is NZ or Australia which makes a big difference. But if they weren't making money, I get why they removed them.

FWIW, Our order always: Calamari, split Harvest Salad (don't sleep on this), Strip, lyonaise and sweet potatoes. I think the sp are better than any of their desserts. I've been twice since Christmas and both times ordered the lyonaise.

Same. That’s a perfect order right there for me too, throw in some Cabernet with the food.

I also agree that the sweet potatoes are better than any dessert on the menu, and I don’t mean that as an insult to their desserts.
Having dinner there tomorrow, and this thread has me ready to eat it at 9am right now.

Rarely eat dessert there...that damn wedge salad creeps up on me every time. I just love it though.

Please report back your findings there. I went and got the Ribeye. Was 20% gristle and very bland. Not a fan of steaks seasoned just salt and pepper and it washed off with hot butter oil.
