Headed to NOLA next weekend for a wedding and staying at the Windsor Court. I'll be there for a few days and one thing I miss is a good RB poboy
Where is the best around that area?
TIA

Napolean house used to have a great one, but the last time I was there was 1995.

I'm local and a fan of Mothers'. Yes, they are overpriced, but they are tasty, too.

Parkway is right down the streer car line. Its good, not great, but better than anything in the FQ or downtown

I think Johnny's is the best in the FQ. I get a Johnny's Special which is ham, roast beef and turkey with au jus.. with french fries is pretty awesome.

Café Maspero's used to have a good roast beef. Anyone have a sandwich from there lately?

last couple times at went to parkway I was disappointed in their RB
Seems to lack seasoning. Love their shrimp poboy though
I was thinking walking to Johnnys or taking a cab to parasols
I haven't been to Johnnys in 20 years or so

RB is the worst thing Parkway does. That street car also goes to Bevi which has a superior RB.

take the street car down Canal to Carrolton and walk 2 blocks to Bevi Seafood Co, then.

I'll second the Mothers RB. They used to have a great hangover cure ham biscuit with a Bloody Mary

I see Mothers is just a couple blocks from the Winsdor. Would you get the regular RB or Ferdi?

Either one. frick the "know nothings" who have nothing to good to say about Mother's. Honestly, the food, for what it's intended to be, is pretty good. If you're worried about paying a couple of extra dollars, that's on you.

Not a fan of Mothers. Parkway is bland to me. Johnnys is ok. Verti Mart will work sometimes. R&O isnt n FQ, and some believe gravy from a can- but is one of my favs. Mahoneys gets blasted here some, but works too.

Didnt realize I wasnt crazy about that many RB Poboys n town till now. I need to make a Tulane List.

Groom n that wedding RD?

Isn't it meant to feed the fat cat lawyers from across the street?

Well, yes, but they do allow the rabble in from time to time.
