Then buy good cuts of beef to cook and make your own at home.

He's talking about restaurants. Can you read?

If he doesn't like how restaurants make it---then make his own is all I'm saying.

That way he can have it the way he likes.

I love a good french dip sandwich...I guess it could be categorized as a poboy. Slow cooked in a crockpot all day. Just add mayo and provolone cheese and bowl of au jus for dipping. I don't need lettuce, tomato, pickle, etc. on a roast beef sandwich.

Give me a fried seafood poboy of any variety(shrimp, catfish, oysters, crawfish, etc.).

If you look at the “meat” most places use, it’s kind of gross. It’s almost always some kind of processed meat log.

Any place that gives me that on a RB poboy is guaranteed to be the last RB poboy I get from them.

Fayards in Ocean Springs has a nice compact and easy to eat in the car roast beef

This sounds good!

Have you considered that you may have the eating habits of a toddler?

The Debris Po Boy from the Po Boy Shop in Decatur GA was recommended by my boss, who is a New Orleans native. It was messy, not nasty, and delicious.

I do feel like too many places these days are going too far overboard on this 'we gotta make it really sloppy' idea.

It's a fine line. I want my RB Poboy sloppy but not where I have to use a whole roll of Brawny paper towels while eating it.
