I think I have some frozen from the last time it was cheap. Hopefully, they won't notice.

WD $8.99 vs. $6.99 last year. WDs are going away so it will go up a lot more next year when it becomes a Rouses which gives a paltry $30 off a roast.

I just picked up a PR at Kroger, for $8.99lb. Then went to Publix to snag a New York Strip Roast ($7.99lb), and picked up another PR for $9.99 because it looked better than Kroger. Between all of them I think I have around 18 steaks now. Will probably pick up another this weekend.

Now to fire up the vacuum sealer.

In the Houston area, Kroger and HEB both have them on sale for $5.74# to $5.99#. But these are the 3-4 bone small ones.

If anyone sees a good crown roast let me know.

Was this bone-in or bone-out? Some of the previous posted prices are likely bone-in and may not be prime.

Costco Baton Rouge boneless prime whole ribeye primals are $19.99/lb. This is the entire primal, not a 4-6 lb roast.

Ribeye roasts boneless (probably 4-6 lbs, I assume choice) are $16.99/lb according to the app.

I just saw choice and prime, bone-in. These were not on the website and were packaged like they were prepared in the store. Im trying to feed 10 people so I was thinking of getting a choice 11 lb, bone-in. Never done this before so if anyone has any serving size suggestions, Im all ears.

I’d say 1 to 1.5lbs per person. Depends on the appetites.
