Had previously went and said I felt it was overpriced. Went back for New Years Eve and it was on point.

Virtually everything we ordered was perfect. Even for not having a reservation getting a seat at the bar was reasonable and the food was quick to come out.

Beef Shank and Potato Bomba with Pickled Pepper is a unique dish. Would recommend especially if sharing with a group of 4.

Papa Bravas were a great add on.

The 24oz Ribeye was amazing. I know there are a lot of people who protest a precut steak showing up at the table, in this case not being a steakhouse I think it fits well.

Gulf Fish a La Plancha with Capers, Lemon, and Sourdough Croutons was Flounder

Definitely didn't walk away feeling like I overpaid and all of the food was crazy good.

How does it compare to Barcelona?

Was also there for New Years Eve, and likewise have zero complaints.

The sauteed mushrooms with sourdough croutons and egg yolk may be in my top 5 meals of all time. It was simple and delicious.

Had to google, honestly thought I had never been there before, it has been a couple years since I went it seems. Even when I just saw the location I thought it was wrong.

I would say Costera is better, only because Barcelona apparently wasn't memorable at all.

We went this weekend, everything was fantastic. Ordered mostly tapas. Only one I wouldn’t recommend is the sweetbreads and they weren’t bad, just not on the level of everything else.

Costera is more “fine dining,” and Barcelona is more traditional. Each are great at the land they are occupying.

I make a third poster that was there on NYE.

Everything was on point as all my previous visits.

Not I.

My dinner was me and a couple friends having an early dinner (6 pm reservations) before that evenings festivities.

I went a few months ago and liked everything we ordered. It's a pretty unique place and I think it will do well.

If I had to pick one thing to gripe about, I'd say that everything was slightly salty, but not enough to complain about it. I also don't use much salt on anything, so I'm a bit more sensitive to it.

Three posters on NYE.. I was across the street at Crepe Nanou.

Costera is really very good and have loved everything I have tried there.

Every time my wife and I are in visiting her folks I make a reservation here, but have cancelled each time because we end up going somewhere else.

Really looking forward to trying this place next time we're in town.

I was actually surprised we could get reservations for NYE.

I was just getting back the day before from a hunting trip and my friends were being lazy. We called the day before and were looking for an early dinner so 6 pm was perfect for us. Because of the late attempt at reservations, I thought they would be all booked up and we'd have to try and grab a spot at the bar (which wouldn't have bothered me at all. I actually prefer it)

I just wish it wasn't "minimum two". It's one of the few things I haven't had yet. It always looks amazing but my friends don't seem to want to share it.

My wife isn’t a fan of some of the stuff in it so I usually order it for myself and bring the rest home

I'll very likely do that next time I am in if they won't want it. After NYE, we have had pretty much everything else on the menu so it won't ne like we are each ordering 2-3 things each time to try as much as we can.

It’s a good meal. My only issue is that the bushy-mustached NOFD chief McConnell was in there and they were kissing his arse like royalty. frick that POS.

Place is okay, they never change the menu. It pales in comparison to any tapas restaurant in Spain.

I give it a 5/10
