No sweat. It's been entertaining. Other than the back and forth bashing, I've enjoyed the addition of the food costs/economics to the thread.

How big is the large for $25
I was going to post this.
I believe MM large's are bigger than average. Maybe 16 or 18"?
Not that the small difference validates $25.

You think Mellow makes pizza at the same costs as a much larger national chain that uses lower quality ingredients? You're really going to go with that?
I think the difference in food costs to the restaurant doesn't warrant the difference in costs to the customer.
For instance:
say Domino's makes a pie for $2 and sells it for $6
MM makes a pie for $3 and sells it for $24
sorry but that's a rip-off anyway you spin it .. unless you really are going to MM because the love the "atmosphere" or hot waitresses or some shite.
ETA: those are hypothetical #'s .. I don't claim to know their exact food costs, just trying to get my point across about value vs. cost

bullshite. Read more beyond what suits your agenda to go after me in every thread where I'm not licking the OP's a-hole about what they posted.

R2r tried to start silliness by picking on sweet niki for having the nerve to order a ceased salad.

Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc. all have large specialty pizzas over $20. Fact.
They DO NOT sell any of their large (and certainly not 16") specialty pizzas for $6.
Bad comparison.

Never been to Mellow Mushroom, so I won't comment on their quality or value one way or another. Thanks for the review, though.
Pizza Delicious makes 18" pies, and they tend to be priced a bit less. I will vouch for their ingredients and quality. They're fantastic.

MM has to pay for the nice big shinny new locations. I honestly don't see how the one in Metairie will survive.

wow way to bring up some inconsequential stuff from page 1 that was already resolved

How big is that freaking place?

Also...let's remember that Pizza Delicious was funded, in large part, by asking for donations from the public!

I was basing the $6 price tag off of what Lunchbox said he could get @ Domino's for that price .. a 2-topping pizza. I don't eat there so I was going off of what the person who does eat there said.

I agree. There are plenty of threads where you are licking the OP's a-hole.
J/K!!

I went the other day for a kids b-day. The space is large but the whole building is split between several offices.
They may make it.

I don't know if whatever kooky granola start-up business plan they employed has anything to do with how they're setting their current prices, though.
ETA, Is that what that silly plaque in their place is all about? I had no idea.

When I order a $6 2 topping pizza from Dominos, I know what I'm getting and it delivers for that price point. Clearly Amici isn't delivering up to it's price point. This is more common sense I'd expect someone with your persona should have.
Dominos has gone sky high on delivery.
I ordered a works and a pepperoni delivered and it was $37 pre tip for two pizzas. Sit down pizzeria prices, but hey it was delivered.

You are such a baby in these threads. God forbid anyone call you on your pompous bullshite.

Is this a serious statement? You don't understand how the fact that they begged the public for money instead of getting loans for their start up costs could make it easier for them to offer lower prices?
