Yeah, this thread turned into a complete shite show.
Thanks again niki for a great review.

explain why a national pizza chain that almost certainly uses less quality ingredients in all likelihood than Amici is still a million dollar company.
Because Amici markets itself as much better than Dominos. When the product doesn't deliver up to it's expectations, the business fails. More common sense. When I order a $6 2 topping pizza from Dominos, I know what I'm getting and it delivers for that price point. Clearly Amici isn't delivering up to it's price point. This is more common sense I'd expect someone with your persona should have.

Actually you tried to label Mellow's cost based off what the big chains costs are.
here's what a posted

I know at the big national chains a pizza chains it costs them about $2 to make a pizza. When you're charging $20.. that's a massive profit margin.
I can't speak for MM's specific food costs because I don't know them, but I would imagine they're not much higher than any other pizza joint .. certainly not enough (in food costs alone) to warrant a $20+ price tag. If you want to argue against that you're full of shite. NOW, if you want to factor in other overhead of MM compared to somewhere like Domino's then you have a point .. but I didn't try to do that. I pointed out that I don't care about their higher overhead, pizza from anywhere @ $25 is ridiculous and not something I'm very interested in.

And I'm aware that basically no one's product is of value you to. Honestly, I'm shocked anywhere gets your money. You are such a whiny titty baby in basically every review thread here. I'd feel sad for you if it wasn't so funny.
Completely false. But continue attacking me personally and ignoring everything of worth that I post on here because you have some fricking personal issue with a guy on the internet.

So this thread has turned into defending Olive Garden and Red Lobster?
great
Read it that way if you want.
Post said that MM is better than some mom and pop places.
OG and RL are also better than some mom and pop places. It's simple.

way to not quote the other part of my post which said pretty much your exact same argument. here it is, in plain sight as it were:

is it because Americans are willing to pay a few bucks for complete shite but not a few more bucks for something a little less shitty?

How big is the large for $25

Good point, but with that location being new, and each location being independently owned, then I think a review is helpful. For instance, it's good to know they have balcony/outdoor dining at that location.

You think Mellow makes pizza at the same costs as a much larger national chain that uses lower quality ingredients? You're really going to go with that?

You post so much negativity about almost everything, I'd never know when you do say something nice about somewhere.

I apologize for contributing to the demise of your thread.
I think what you posted was good for people in that area and knowing about a specific location is good information.

about the same size as Slice I think. with Slice though they're highest pizza is $21 and you get better toppings.

I didn't see it, but I'd imagine it's pretty big. Like I said, me and my date split the small Caesar salad and split a medium pizza and we had a piece to take home.
I didn't feel $25 (the price of the salad and our choice of pizza) was a lot for 2 people to have dinner.
