Tacky Jack's is a good spot for breakfast. And not a bad place to sip a few drinks overlooking the water.

Been going to Orange Beach for years and these recommendations are in not particular order:

-Papa Rocco's - Great pizza and baked oysters.
Price Buster pizza, Oysters
Rockyfeller are our favorites,
but try all the oyster specialties.
-Cosmos- Went there for the first time last year
and it was very good.
-LuLu's - Pretty good, but you have to catch it
when it is not busy. If you go when it
is the food is just mediocre.
-King Neptune's - A very small place, but the food
is very good.
-Tacky Jack's Orange Beach - Good for breakfast.
-Tin Top Resturant in Bon Secour - If there is live
entertainment it is very noisy.
Good food.
-Franco's Italian - Good food and the Cesear salad
and dressing is one of the best
I have had.
-Gulf Shores Steamer - Food is good and it is
either steamed or grilled;
nothing fried.
-Original Oyster House - Food is good, but
sometimes service is slow.
-Hope's Cheesecakes - Best cheesecake I have ever
had. Good selection of
flavors and should be able to
get a sampler of the flavors
you would like to try.

Sorry this is so long, but I figured more information is better than just going to a bad place.

Have fun!!! Love it there, myself.

As Always,

It is not in Orange Beach, it's in Gulf Shores... But Ribs & Reds is delicious.

-Cobalt (@ the Caribe) is divine. The calamari is outstanding.

-Cosmo's sushi is the best around town.

-Franco's was a lot better when it was near Zeke's... But I find their red sauce pretty fabulous.

-Tacky Jack's only for nacho's & breakfast.

-I can't believe some of you people with good taste on here actually recommended Lambert's, that place is scum of the earth chain food trash.

-I agree with going to LuLu's when it isn't crowded, I've been to lunch there before during the week not during vacation season and it was actually good.

-Calypso's is the same in Orange Beach Marina... it is hit or miss depending on the timeof the year.

-Ribs and Reds, as mentioned.

-Even though it is a chain, and I do not like chains, but beach towns are chain city central, the Hooters in Gulf Shores is one of the best Hooters that I have ever been to.

-The Hangout blows.

-Gulf Island Grill in Gulf Shores is terrible.

-Guy Harvey's Island Grill or whatever is overpriced and overrated.

-Rant to be continued.

Lamberts and LuLus, to me, are the worst restrnts over there.....

LuLus was quite possibly the worst food i have ever eaten. They might get my $ for drinks....but I am done eating at that joint.
