Has anyone been? Is it worth it? Taking a trip to Biloxi next month and staying at the IP Resort.

Been there a few times, it's above average. They use to make your Caesar salad at the table. Not many places do that anymore.

If at IP I suggest Tien. I’ve had some wonderful ethnic meals there.

Samurai in Gulfport is probably better (but I don’t go to casinos so I can’t say for sure).

Casino places can still be good, but will be 20 to 30% more than a great local place.

Going there works in some places but isn’t the best option in most

We love their apps from the sushi bar.

My favorite: Yellowtail Tarta

Wife’s favorite: Tuna Sunset

I’ve been once, it was good, BUT they are not as good as they think they are, if that makes sense. I think dinner was around $175 for the two us. I’ve had better for a little less.
I would say it’s a good place to go once.

Just booked a reservation at White Pillars. Will let the girlfriend look over and see which she prefers. Or may do one Friday night, the other Saturday.

Beautiful restaurant, has a Coquette-y type feel to it. Good bar program as well. Asked to be seated in the room that looks into the kitchen.

White Pillars. Eat before you go. Basically a white linen restaurant. Last time they gave us a half of a quail egg as a free appetizer. Cost more to wash the dishes than the app. Food is good but small portions and expensive. Been twice. Wouldn't go back. Just not me.

It’s an amuse bouche and did you ever have the chicken liver pate at La Provence? It’s supposed to simply awaken your palate. It’s not an app.

You’re supposed to order an app, a salad/soup, and an entre...each...share a dessert and have an after dinner drink. Shouldn’t be hungry after that.

Yea, that’s always better at home anyways. I’m a rice and gravy guy...but I don’t go to restaurants for that.

You been to Pirates Cove in the Pass?

They’re making literally everything in house - pasta, breads, cured meats etc. All ingredients are locally sourced. I don’t think it’s expensive by any means but the cost it’s factored into the price

With the wife I usually get a few small plates, charcuterie board and an entree and leave stuffed

Probably not for everyone
