Passing through this week and not familiar with the area, especially under the circumstances. What’s open and good for dinner around there? Any higher end options? Is the brewery doing to go? Any tips would be helpful.

The Southern Hotel

I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, but if their restaurant’s food is as good as the wedding catering (which I’ve had, and is done by their restaurant), it’s gotta be unbelievably good.

That's about the only thing that is decent there.

In Old Mandeville Hambone would be my choice. Don’t think they’re doing fine in but all their take out (regular menu and family meal specials) are fantastic. They have some really good to go cocktails also.

If you have to dine in Gallagher’s would be my recommendation and they have been slammed the last couple of weeks

Del Porto is disgusting top to bottom. Don't waste your time as it went down fast.

He said Mandeville area, which I consider Covington in that area. What are we talking, 5 miles?

Lakehouse for Sunday brunch is outstanding.

Leonardos is excellent.
